Group Lessons

Lesson Format

Our classes are kept at 6 officially registered students per class*.
We believe that an intimate classroom setting better facilitates learning.

Lesson Arrangement

In the event of a public holiday, we will reschedule the regular class to a different timing or merge it with an existing class. Should your child be unable to attend the rescheduled or merged class, they may arrange for a replacement class.

Replacement into existing group classes
Should your child be unable to attend their regular class, they may arrange for a replacement class within the week. Our cycle runs from Monday to Sunday.

Replacement into a specially arranged 1-1 class
Should your child be unable to attend any other existing group classes within that cycle, they may request for a specially arranged 1-1 replacement class.
– Limited to two specially arranged classes per term
– Subject to teacher’s availability
– Duration: 1 hour

In the event that a specially arranged 1-1 class is required for more than one consecutive cycle, the teacher may merge more than one cycle’s material in the specially arranged replacement class. The duration of the class will be up to the teacher’s discretion, depending on the lesson material that will be covered.

Trial Lesson

We understand that it is important for students to feel comfortable with us in order for learning to take place.

Book a trial lesson with us today. We will waive $80 upon registration for a full term.

Fees

Classes are priced at:
P1-P4 $80/lesson (1 hour and 45 minutes)
P5-P6 $90/lesson (2 hours)

Our terms run for a total of 11-12 weeks. Our lessons during the June and December holidays run as holiday modules. Registration will be on a term basis. Fees are non-refundable should you decide to withdraw before the term ends.

To secure your child’s place with us, there will be a non-refundable registration fee of SGD$25. We will also require a deposit of SGD$150.
This deposit is refundable should you withdraw your child from us with a minimum of one month’s notice.

P1 - P5 Holiday Modules

During the June and December school holidays, our lessons run as Holiday Modules. These modules are held during the school holidays and are conducted in addition to our existing Term 2 and 4 lessons respectively.

A schedule will be provided nearer the date and students will choose two modules to attend. We hope that this will give students more flexibility during the school holidays. The modules do not have to be attended in order or taken with their regular class and/or teacher.

For students who are officially registered with The Rowan Tree, these modules will be included in the Term 2 and 4 fees and curriculum. We have structured our regular term curriculum to complement the content covered in the Holiday Modules.

For students who are currently not registered with The Rowan Tree, these modules are also open to them. Students will have to attend both modules. Kindly reach out to us to enquire on the dates and availability.

P6 PSLE Weeding out Weaknesses Workshop

Our PSLE Weeding out Weakness Workshop (PSLE WOW Workshop) is an intensive extra module held during the June holidays and conducted in addition to our existing Term 2 lessons.

Session 1 | 3 hours
Paper 1 (Composition and Situational Writing)
Paper 4 (Orals)

Session 2 | 3 hours
Paper 2 (Practice Test and Review)

We believe that this workshop will help students identify areas where they need more help, practice and revision in. Under the guidance of our teachers, students will be able to review their work and refocus their preparation in the months leading up to PSLE.

For students who are officially registered with The Rowan Tree, this workshop will be included in the Term 2 fees and curriculum. We have structured our regular term curriculum to complement the content covered in the PSLE WOW Workshop.

For students who are currently not registered with The Rowan Tree, this workshop is also open as a standalone workshop. Kindly reach out to us to enquire on the dates and availability.

Dates: June holidays (exact dates to be confirmed)
Duration: 3 hours/session (light snacks will be provided)
Fees: $135/session
